The Vaka Hope
I am so excited to announce that the fourth episode of the Vaka Hope sailing series is live!
This was one of the largest & longest projects I’ve ever worked on. Since I wasn’t there to film the 10 week journey there was a ton of work in the editing process. Hundreds of clips and hours of vlog footage to wade through to compile this story of their journey.
While the overarching story isn’t quite yet complete this part of it was so encouraging to see God at work in the nations. Spoiler alert - the boat has already made it to the Solomons and has been given to YWAM Solomon Islands. In the fall of last year Eivind and Naomi got married. They are currently in New Zealand finding a ‘home base’ and then going from there to work in the Solomon islands. Please pray the ship would be a blessing to train Solomon Islanders to take the gospel to the nations.
One of the first stories we did in our studio was of Eivind's testimony. In the 'What Were You Thinking?' series we wanted to hear, how did you go from oil drilling in Norway to missions work in the Solomon Islands? He's got an incredible story and if you haven't seen it you can check it out:
If you haven't seen the first 3 episodes of the Vaka Hope, check them out here.
