STORIES FROM THE SHIP

Geua, born and raised in Papua New Guinea, loves her nation and wants to see it thrive. She has faced many challenges but has a determination and faith that has helped her overcome. She's one of the crew serving on our ship the YWAM Liberty, check out her story:

OUTPOST PANAMA is on an island called Bastiementos on the Caribbean Sea side of northern Panama, up near Costa Rica. The house, with room for 40, is perfectly situated in the jungle, nestled among many indigenous Ngobe Indian tribes. Completely off the grid we produce power by solar, catch rain water, and are surrounded by lush plants, fruit trees, and 3 streams on 8 acres of land. There are no roads and our only access is by water taxis that run in and out of town a 10-15 minute ride away. When we were given this property it was perfect because of its proximity to the Ngobe indian tribes scattered along the river systems of coastal Panama. With much of the Panamanian coastline undeveloped it could take up to a week to reach these tribes by land. With our partnerSHIP m/v Making Waves, we can pull up within a day and start ministry.
